The final component to any successful slip and fall prevention program is maintaining strict customer incident investigation procedures.  Store management should always be involved in any investigation; detailed photos should be taken; an investigation should occur immediately after an incident; and, proper reporting procedures need to be in place to report the incident and subsequent investigation.
